Hello friends!!!

It’s a bittersweet day because we’re debuting the last STAMPtember® 2022 Exclusive collaboration for 2022! The Newton’s Nook Warm & Cozy set definitely lives up to its name!

I will be the first to admit, indoor scenes are hard for me! I never know what to do with “walls”. So I thought I would create a shiplap look. On a white piece of cardstock, I used a ruler and drew lines 1/2″ apart going down a panel using a gray marker.

I used a piece of Fog cardstock for the floor and ink-blended it lightly with Cozy ink and pieced it to the white panel I created.

Now that I have my background made, I stamped and colored all of my images with Copic markers. For the pattern on the couch, I simple stamped the image over patterned paper and then used a gray marker to add shading.

Reds:  R32, R35, R37
Cat:  W0, E70, E71
Dog:  E30, E31, E34, E37
Grays:  N1, N3, N5, N8

I attached the couch first with foam adhesive, then added the pillows and blanket to make it cozy. Next, I added the pets. The cat gets the couch. I’m terrified of cats by the way…and I assume they call the shots so the sweet puppy is on the floor. I finished my card by stamping a sentiment in the open space above the couch.
