Hello there!

I’m back today for a die-cutting/paper-piecing project! If you visit my blog often, you’ll know I love die-cutting and piecing flowers! Today’s project uses the Concord & 9th Picked Posie set. I love a die-set that allows for a variety of arrangements and this one is so well designed!

Choosing colors and die-cutting all the parts are the most time-consuming for me, but once it’s all done, I have so much fun piecing it all together and building my arrangement. The cardstock used for my card are all from Concord & 9th and I used coordinating ink to add color on the flowers and foliage.

Cardstock:  Honeysuckle, Sorbet, Grapefruit, Ballet Slipper, Aqua Sky, Sprout, Parsley, Stardust

Inks:  Honeysuckle, Sorbet, Grapefruit, Ballet Slipper, Aqua Sky, Sprout, Parsley

For the background, I used the Stitched Vines Card Front to cut a decorative background. The coordinating Picked Posie stamp set has great general messages and the die-set has a perfect banner die. I stamped my sentiment in Honeysuckle ink over white cardstock and adhered it to my background first with foam adhesive and built my flower spray around the banner.

I attached the flowers first around the banner, then I filled in the open areas with foliage. This ensures a balance with the flowers first. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
