I have simple one-layer card to share today using the new Painted Christmas Wreath cling stamp from the Simon Says Stamp Cozy Hugs Release!
I used Pawsitively Saturated Inks to stamp images from this beautiful wreath! I did some masking and wiping, but it wasn’t hard to do to make this wreath colorful. Colors of inks will be linked below.
To get two tones, I stamped first with a lighter color and then dabbed on a darker color with a finger dauber. This is a go-to technique for me with stamped images to add depth and interest. When I was done stamping the wreath, I added some paint splatters to give it more texture.
I finished today’s card by embossing the sentiment at the center in gold. I added some yellow pearls to the center of the flowers and then used Holly Sparkle Sequins from the new sequin mix from this release.
