Hello there!

I have a simple card to share today for Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! The holidays are quickly approaching so anything winter-themed cards are welcome in my stash as I create and prepare for a mass send-off.

Today’s card features the Deck the Car dies and Birch Trees Stencils. Combined, they create a “through the woods” scene that’s simple, but gives you all the winter vibes! I die-cut the Deck the Car dies in white, red and black. I used Copics to color some white areas like the windows, wheels, car lights, and Christmas tree. I also used Copics for the red car’s shading. When I finished coloring, I pieced it all together.

For the background I ink-blended Uncharted Mariner and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered it with some water and then used a Birch Tree Stencil to stencil on some birch tress using some Tim Holtz Distress Grit Paste.

To create the bottom half of my card, I used Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and Simple Road Borders to create the road and snow ground. Before adhering the two together, I stamped the sentiment using the Say What? Holiday Critters set.
