I’m sharing some inspiration from last month’s STAMPtember release today. I’ve always admired the Printmaking sets from Simon Says Stamp and I just had to create with the new Printmaking Birds set.
There are 4 layers to these birds, including the outline and I took my time stamping one bird at a time to make rainbow birds. I used a YR65 to color the beaks because of how I chose to stamp these. The stamps are designed to make a quick set of birds in the same colors and I think that would be really fun too!
I die-cut my birds with the coordinating dies to create a birds-on-a-wire look. To do that, I used my T-ruler and a drawing pen to free-hand wires onto a white panel. Before adhering the birds, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the panel.
After attaching the birds with foam adhesive, I adhered more foam adhesive on the back of the white panel to give it more dimension. To finish, I attached the panel onto a piece of rainbow patterned paper from the Doodlebug Fairy Garden pack. I hope you like it!
