Hello there!
I have a fun die-cut card to share with you, using the Spellbinders Gnome Tree die set. My card today consists of a lot of die-cutting, a lot of ink-blending, and even some Copic-coloring.
I began by die-cutting with lots of colorful cardstock in rainbow colors for my gnomes. To give each piece of cardstock more interest, I used coordinating ink to ink-blend a darker shade for some shading. To make it more interesting, I also switched up the colors on each gnome so their hats and outfits are not the same color. I colored some yellow cardstock with Copics to get the orange shade I wanted.
Ornaments: RV15, Y15, YG07, BG34, B06
Beards: W2
Nose: E51
Orange: YR30, YR31, YR61
I die-cut my stars and garland with gold cardstock and added some Glossy Accents over the ornaments/garland. For the wreath, I added some red pearls to give it dimension. After piecing it all together, I added some white gel highlights, then set it aside to work on the background.
My background is ink-blended with Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Uncharted Mariner. I spritzed the panel with water for interest and also splattered it with white paint. I finished by attaching my Gnome Tree and added a foiled sentiment using Yana’s Christmas Sentiments set.
