Hi Everyone!

Altenew has a new monthly release and I’m excited to be a part of the blog hop today! Be sure to check out the Altenew Blog where the fun begins for this blog hop! I have a colorful card to share using the Dancing Sunflowers set!

The Dancing Sunflowers set is a 6″ x 8″ set with two large sunflower images. I used the bigger of the two for my card today. After stamping and embossing the image with black ink and clear embossing powder, I used the coordinating Dancing Sunflowers Stencils to ink-blend. There are 6 layers to this stencil set and I used the main (most open) stencils only for my ink blends.

I wanted a colorful card, but was too chicken to ink-blend this in rainbow order. LOVE it when I see it, but I wasn’t sure I could pull it off. Instead, I chose some warm, bright colors for this sunflower. My background uses the new Hexagon Blocks Embossing Folder. I love that the hexagon blocks are small – it creates so much texture!
