Gina K. Designs has a release tonight and I have the pleasure of sharing a card made using the Something Wonderful set. This set was illustrated by Lisa Hetrick.
The set is wonderfully simple to use. Lisa’s sets can very much be used abstract – there are solid stamps to color your images and different designs to add texture if you decide not to color. I’m going to share a document that Lisa prepared to show how you can simply stamp using this set!
I absolutely love how you can stamp the inside of the pomegranate! I tried to visualize the set differently and decided to do some no-line watercoloring.
I used Daniel Smith watercolors for some loose watercoloring and really enjoyed not being a perfectionist – especially on the leaves.

There are dies, but I don’t have them so I fussy-cut the images. For the background, I ink-blended a soft blend of Distress Oxides using Saltwater Taffy, Tattered Rose, and Antique Linen. I arranged my images and then finished with an embossed sentiment that I also fussy-cut.
