Hello friends!

The Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle release just dropped early this morning! I’m sharing a “simple” card today featuring the Holly Jolly Berries embossing folder. To elevate this card, I embossed the image over watercolor cardstock and watercolored the raised portions of the embossed panel.

I used 3 paint colors for my card today: Pyrrol Crimson for the berries, Deep Sap Green for the holly leaves, and Sepia for the brown stems. On a scrap piece of watercolor paper, I painted the red and green to die-cut some Fruitful Berries as well to add more texture and layers to my card.

I added my Holly Jolly Berries when I added my sentiment strip with foam adhesive. The sentiment is embossed from the Holiday Greens stamp set.

On random berries, I added Glossy Accents for shine and gave them shimmer with some Unicorn Dust glitter.
