Hello friends!

It’s Fawny Holiday Week and I’m excited to share a holiday/winter project with you! I’ve incorporated a Magic Iris Snowflake Add-On shaker element with a fun Snowball Fight scene.

I made a video for this project and hope you’ll enjoy it!

To create my background, I ink-blended with Milled Lavender, Victorian Velvet, and Seedless Preserves. Then, I used Pearl Stencil Paste to add snowflakes using the Snowflake Background Stencils.

Next, I Copic-colored my images for my scene.

• Browns:  E31, E35
• Grays (mice):  W0, W2, W4, W7, C1
• Blues:  B0000, B000, B01, B02
• Teals:  BG11, BG13
• Purples:  V000, V01, V04

I added some Prisma Glitter to add sparkles to my snow images for some interest too.

My snowflake shaker is die-cut using the Magic Iris Snowflake Add-On die. The top uses Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock and is stacked with 3 additional layers of white heavy-weight cardstock for added depth for a shaker window. The window is stamped and embossed with a sentiment from Magic Holiday Messages over Pearlescent Vellum. Before adhering, I placed white seed beads under the shaker window as shaker bits.
