There’s a special holiday kit release from Simon Says Stamp today! The Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit 2022 is loaded with goodies.
I didn’t get to use it all for today’s project, but I can not wait to see what others create!
I used the Festive Feathered Friends stamp set to stamp the partridge image and colored it with the Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Dark Red and Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Jade Green markers. I also supplemented with Copic markers to color the rest of the image.

Partridge: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
When I was done coloring the image, I added some Distress Glitter and Distress Mica Flakes to the foliage for some extra sparkle. The background is a piece of white cardstock embossed with the Holly Jolly Berries Embossing Folder. I give it some color using some Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink. Next, I sewed this layer onto a piece of Red Holographic Paper (included in the kit!)
I used some Tim Holtz Christmas Ephemera and Tim Holtz Pine Twine (also included in the kit) and attached them to the embossed layer before attaching the copic-colored image. This card is different for me, but I had so much fun making it! Be sure to check out the full kit contents!
