I used Daniel Smith watercolors to create some galaxy panels to use for my cards today.

Using pinks, blues, purples, and teals, I created two watercolor panels. Using the Milky Way Window die, I die-cut one with the oval frame and one without. Then, based on the colors of each panel, I created two shaker cards.

The blue card is die-cut without the oval frame from the Milky Way Window die. You can see more of the galaxy background. Using Audrey Blue cardstock, I ink-blended Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink around the edges and sprayed the panel with some water to give it texture.

I added acetate to the back of the window frame and added foam adhesive to turn it into a shaker window. The window was filled with Glittering Snow sequins. I finished with sentiments from the Reverse Sun and Moon Sentiment Stripes.

My second galaxy panel is die-cut with the oval window frame. For this background, I started with pink cardstock and ink-blended it with Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink. I created a shaker window using acetate once more and used the oval window frame die to perfectly cut the oval from acetate.

For this card, I filled my shaker window with embellishments from the Gilded Sequins mix. I finished this card with a sentiment from the Reverse Sun and Moon Sentiment Stripes, too.
