Hello friends!
I have a card to share today using a set designed by my friend, Alberto Gava for the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle release! He’s so talented with his Copic-coloring skills, I’m sure you know who I’m talking about! If you don’t you need to google his name! The set I’m using is called Magical Christmas and it’s loaded with cuteness!
I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers. I’m sure Alberto will blow me out of the water with what he does with this set!
Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39
Pinks: R30, RV10, RV11, RV13
Gold: Y11, Y15, YR24
Greens: [G21, G24, G28], [G12, G14, G16]
Teals: BG21, BG34, BG45, BG49
Blues: [BG000, BG01, BG02], [B21, B24, B28]
Purples: V000, V01, V05
Browns: E30, E31, E34, E35, E37, E84, [E11, E51, E000]
Grays: C3, C5, C7
For the background, I ink-blended splotches of color using Seafoam, Marine, and Bubblegum Pawsitively Saturated Inks for a fun and colorful setting for my images. I used a very light hand, so the colors blended together with little effort. It also helps to choose colors in the same cool tones.
I finished by attaching my images. To add some interest, I added some white gel highlights and some shimmer to the wings and ornament – I wish you could see the shimmer in person!
