Hello, friends!
I’m sharing a fun card today using Bottlebrush Trees from Tim Hotlz/Stamper’s Anonymous! I absolutely love bottlebrush trees. One year, I used Distress Sprays to make a rainbow of large bottlebrush trees. The next, I made a tablescape using dark green bottlebrushes. I’ll share photos of those two things below. I just had to have this set when it was released!

I made a rainbow card using the Bottlebrush Trees images by doing some partial embossing. It’s quite tedious, but the result is so worth it! I worked one tree at a time, adding gold embossing powder to the bottoms of the stamped images, then colored Distress Embossing Glaze before heat-setting.
Distress Embossing Glaze colors used from left to right: Saltwater Taffy, Lumberjack Plaid, Crackling Campfire, Wild Honey, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Rustic Wilderness, Broken China, Prize Ribbon, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Kitsch Flamingo

I fussy-cut around each stamped image, which took some time, but it’s worth it to be able to adhere them to my slimline card panel with different depths of dimension. The trees in the back are adhered directly to the panel, some use 0.04″ foam and some use use 0.02″ foam.

I finished my card with a quick pre-printed sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Reverse Christmas Wishes Sentiment Stripes. These sentiment sets really are soooo handy and make my life easier! Okay – ready for my real bottlebrush tree projects? Here they are:

I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
