Gina K. Designs – The Lord is My Shepherd

Hi there friends!

This month’s Gina K. Designs release is live and all products are available now! I’m sharing a card made using the beautiful set designed by Hannah Drapinski called The Lord is My Shepherd.

To make today’s card, I stamped the image over Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I haven’t used colored pencils in a while and thought this gorgeous image was calling for it! I used Faber-Castell Polychromos to color. I added a light layer of dark and medium shades, then blended with a white pencil and then went over it again with the darkest color to add striations in each petal.

Colors used: White, Dark Red, Pink Carmine, Alizarin Crimson, Light Purple Pink, Chrome Oxide Green, Green Yellowish, Permanent Green Olive, Leaf Green

After coloring, I trimmed my panel and added some white pigment ink using a finger dauber to give it a soft glow. Next, I stamped the sentiment with a crisp black ink.
