Did you know that Simon Says Stamp has a few painted wreath products? I love this “series” – whether it be in the form of stencils or stamps. Today’s card uses the new Painted Heart Wreath cling stamp from the Kisses release.

To isolate the colors while stamping, I use a finger dauber to add color to each element that I want stamped, masking if necessary to prevent colors from getting on other images. When I was done stamping my wreath, I splattered my panel with gold paint to give it more interest and texture.

For the sentiment, I used the From the Heart Messages. They are made to fit inside the Nested Round Hearts dies. I simply embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder. Before attaching it to my stamped background, I made clusters of gold thread loops to add to the back.
