Hi there, friends!

I’m so excited to share today’s card with you. I think it’s one of my favorites ever, at the risk of sounding too proud. My friend and I were talking about quilts and in my search for patterns, I came across one that really inspired me.

My card today uses the Strip Dies 1 set and lots of die-cutting. I die-cut a rainbow of strips to weave a colorful rainbow pattern.

I used the Brutus Monroe Stick and Stamp Mat to hold down white strips and weaved with the colored strips – one at a time from top to bottom. It took some time, but the results are worth it!

My card today is a 5″ x 7″ card – I really wanted to show more of the colorful weave. I attached the weaved panel to a white panel using foam adhesive for dimension.

I finished with a die-cut sentiment using the CZ Friends die and a sentiment from the Reverse The Best Friends sentiment strips set.
