I’m on the Lawn Fawn Blog today, but I wanted to share the project here with you today too. The first double slider surprise card I ever made was 7 years ago – before the Double Slider Surprise Die was available. I made it to do a gender reveal in one of my oldest YouTube videos. You can see the post here. Gosh, it was so special…and was so long ago!

I’ve never made a vertical Double Slider Surprise card before and thought I’d make one for today’s card. the Unicorn Picnic and A Little Sparkle sets are well loved and I felt they’d make a good extended scene for a double slider card.

After stamping and coloring the images, I ink-blended the background using Distress Oxide Inks (Festive Berries, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet).
