Hi there!

My card today uses a charming set from Simon Says Stamp. The Vitamin Sea set was illustrated by my friend Alberto Gava. I love that Alberto brings some sweet and adorable characters and critters to the Simon Says Stamp store! He has illustrated several sets over the past year and this one is wonderful!

I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers.

Pinks:  R30, [RV23, RV25], [RV10, RV11, RV13, RV17]
Oranges:  YR00, YR01, YR02, YR68
Yellows: Y11, Y15
Greens:  YG01, YG06, YG09
Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG13
Blues:  BG000, BG01, BG05
Purples:  [V000, V01, V04], [RV63, RV66, RV69]
Browns:  E0000, E50, E53, E31, E35, E39, E11
Grays:  [C4, C7, C9], [W0, W2, W4, W6]

When I made this card I didn’t have dies, so I fussy-cut all the images you see! Fortunately, dies are an option and I will be ordering it! On the background, I ink-blended with Distress Oxide Inks (Gathered Twigs, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire). I spritzed it with water before ink-blending with the darkest Chipped Sapphire color. I adhered my images to the card, some directly to the background, and some with foam squares for dimension.

To finish this card, I stamped and embossed a sentiment. Super straight forward – lots of coloring 😅.
