TOOL BOX POP-UP CARD:

It may be hard to tell, but i turned my tool box into a pop-up card with an insert to give the toolbox and tools more dimension. To do this, I die-cut the tool box a second time for the front panel (trimming off the sides and top handle). I cut two 1″ x 1.5″ strips, scoring 1/4″ on each side of the strips to make the pop out component to adhere the tool box front and backs together. For an insert, I cut a 1″ x 3.5″ strip, again scoring at 1/4″ on each side to adhere to the inside of the box between the front and back panels (like a box card).

I added stitching to the front of the tool box using a gold pen. The box collapses flat to fit inside and envelope.
