I’m excited to share today’s cards. I split one die into two and created two flip-flopped cards.

The Sunflower Petals Die is a simple die, but has so much potential! I learned after it was released, that it was intentionally created to be colorful, but I made a card using traditional colors. I was going through my die-bin and thought it was time to bring it to life again.

There are four petals to the die set in addition to it’s center pieces. I die-cut a rainbow of petals using all four dies (four petals for each color). Then I divided the petals and the flower center after coloring. The center is die-cut with yellow cardstock and then colored with Copic markers (E31, E34, E37).

I stamped the sentiment over the same gray cardstock that I used for my background also using the XL Spring Greetings. I chose to stamp it on a separate piece as opposed to stamping it on the background because I didn’t want to fuss with stray white embossing powder on the rest of my panel and it gives the card more dimension. To finish, I adhered my each half onto the other side of the sentiment.
