My card today features a few new products from the Just for You release. The Magical Spring set is whimsy and so beautifully illustrated by Alberto Gava. I began by stamping and coloring all the images.

Grays:  W0, W3, W6, C0, C2, C4, C6, C8
Skin:  E000, E51, E11, R30

For the background, I ink-blended with Distress Oxide inks using Victorian Velvet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Mowed Lawn. I used the Simon Says Stamp Background Blending Brushes for this background because it was a bigger panel – my card today is a 5″ x 7″.

I splattered my panel with water and white paint to give it texture before attaching my images. To give my card some sparkle, I used glossy accents to add some veins to the fairy and bug wings and applied some Unicorn Dust. I finished with a simple embossed sentiment from the set.
