Lawn Fawn – Inspiration Week – Just Plane Awesome

Hi there, friends!

It’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week and we are kicking off with showcasing the Just Plane Awesome and it’s add-on set. These mice and their paper airplanes are adorable!

I stamped and colored the images with Copic markers.

Reds: R22, R24, R27
Oranges: YR00, YR02, YR04
Yellows: Y11, Y17
Greens: G40, YG06, YG09
Teals: BG10, BG11, BG13
Blues: B000, B01, B04
Purples: V000, V01, V04
Pinks: RV10, RV11, RV13
Mice: R30, E40, E41, E42, E43

For the background, I used the Puffy Cloud Backdrop Portrait die and masked off each section to ink-blend a rainbow. I roughly laid out my images and stamped some trails and the sentiment before attaching the colored images.

  I haven’t had much of that… but I did have a mama raccoon with a nest of (it turned out) 2 babies living between the drywall and the exterior siding of the master bedroom in our house about a year after we moved in. Reeeeaaalllly not good. I hated to have to exterminate the mama, but we did. We could hear her enter (she’d bent the soffit back quite a lot – they’re strong!) and click,click,click her claws up and over the arched ceiling in the bedroom over to an alcove where my dresser is. Night after night… my husband said it was night birds. I told him phooey. It ended up to be coons. So I understand your comment. Believe me!

  We have a family of coons nearby too. Downside of living close to nature all the critters use your home for nesting!
