Hey there, friends!

There’s a small Lawn Fawn Release coming up and there are some adorable bee-themed products! Some of the products were previously released as a part of a special kit and will be available with the next release. Today’s card features a few of these new products and I’m excited to share it with you. These products will be available on May 18th, 2023!

Today’s Inspiration post features the Honeycomb Backdrop die. On a piece of Canson XL Watercolor paper, I watercolored some yellow in varying saturation for interest all across the panel (Daniel Smith Quinacridone Gold). When it was dry, I die-cut the Honeycomb Backdrop pattern into it. It leaves honeycomb negatives that I used to decorate the card as well.

I die-cut the branch, leaves and flowers from the Magic Iris Bee Hive die. I will be using the main bee hive portion of the die for a card when we highlight that product. For this card, I just wanted to use the accessories to pair with the Hive Five images. I stamped and colored those images using Copic markers.

Copics:  Y11, Y15, YR24, R20, BG10, BG11

Once all the elements were created and and prepared, I had so much fun creating this colorful scene! I hope you like this card! Stay tuned for more inspiration this week leading up to the May release on May 18th, 2023!
