Today’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration card features the new Fireworks Hot Foil Plate. My card is simple, but bold!

I hot foiled the Fireworks Hot Foil Plate with rainbow foil over white cardstock and ink-blended a festive night sky using Distress Oxide Inks.

I ink-blended the centers of the fireworks first and built the colors for the night sky. It takes a lot of ink to get the panel saturated! I spritzed my panel with water and white paint to give it some texture.

If you want, you can plan ahead and emboss your sentiment first. The sentiment I used is from the Simply Celebrate set. I embossed it after all my ink-blending was done. To give it more interest, I added some dew drops to the centers of the fireworks. Otherwise, this is a single-layer card!

This new hot foil plate (and coordinating die) will be available on May 18th!
