The Peony Background cling stamp is one designed by Emily Midgett. It fills an A2-sized panel beautifully. I stamped and embossed it in black to watercolor. I find that I watercolor much quicker if I emboss the image.

To give the panel some interest, I added a gold frame using A2 Thin Frames that I die-cut using Matte Gold Cardstock. Then, for the sentiment, I hot foiled the new Elegantly Modern Greetings hot foil plate. I also embossed a sub-sentiment using the Elegantly Modern Greetings stamp.

I love peonies. The pink you used is so pretty. One of our daughters chose this flower for her bridal bouquet and it was fabulous. Your watercoloring and the beautiful sentiment is gorgeous. That’s a lot of descriptive adjectives but the card warrants it. I’d be happy to win that as a prize.

I personally think detailed stamps like this are a bit intimidating when it comes to adding color copies. I’m new at watercolor painting. You’ve made this stamp look easy using watercolors. Just beautiful. ♥️
