Concord & 9th – Weekend Market

Hi friends!

I’m sharing a card using the Weekend Market set from Concord & 9th from their May release since they don’t have a new release this month. I had fun piecing this one together and it’s a little nostalgic! Kansas City has great city markets all over – the largest being downtown in our River Market. I haven’t been in a long time (kids, distance, time), but I loved going and have fond memories there – including a family photo session that we did there when I only had two kids.

The Weekend Market dies are fun and easy to put together. All the cardstock I used is from Concord & 9th – and you can get a sampler pack with all the colors – such a great way to give them a try! I ink-blended only the pants, shirt, and net bag. I just love the details of these dies!

The background is stamped using the Brick Background stamp.I used a light gray ink (Pebble) and thought it was the perfect amount of color without distracting from the dies. After piecing together all the dies, I attached it to the Brick Background and stamped a simple sentiment from the Weekend Market stamp.
