Lawn Fawn – Inspiration Week – Yappy Birthday

Hi there friends!

Welcome to Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! The team will be showing previews of the upcoming summer release over the next week. The release will be live on June 22nd and I hope you’ll get excited by the previews! Today’s card features the new Yappy Birthday set and the new Slimline Grassy Stencil.

I began by stamping and coloring my images with Copic markers. I tried to make the puppies different colors/coats to make them all unique to their breed.

Reds/Pinks: [R30, R32, R35, R37, R39], [R00, R20, R21, R22, R24]
Oranges/Yellows: [YR30, YR20, YR21], [Y11, Y15, YR24]
Greens: [YG21, YG13], [G40, YG06, YG09]
Teals: BG10, BG11, BG13
Blues: [B21, B24, B26], [BG000, BG05, BG07]
Grays: [W00, W1, W3, W5], [C0, C2, C4, C6, C8]
Browns: [E50, E23, E25], [E21, E11, E13]

Because there are such adorable images, my scene is on a slimline-sized card (3.5″ x 8.5″). I ink-blended the Slimline Grassy Stencil using Jalapeno ink and the Slimline Cloudy Stencil using Merman ink.

Once my background was created, I set up my scene with the Yappy Birthday images.
