Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Just a Note release blog hop! If you haven’t checked out yesterday’s blog hop, be sure to check that out starting at the Simon Says Stamp Blog! There are lots of inspiration from the release and you can see it all in one place at the Just a Note Gallery. Today’s card uses the new Cathy Zielske Noted set and Just a Note dies.

The CZ Noted set comes with a piece of notebook paper that you can personalize. I stamped this with light blue ink, then added the check boxes to the left and sayings on the right. What’s fun about this is you can arrange it however you want and there are different “themes” for the checklist!

I made it colorful with a rainbow of checkmarks using dye inks. Then, for the large pencil, I stamped the image using The Write Stuff set. There are lots of office supplies/back to school items on that set that are so much fun!

The background uses the new Gradient Dot Embossing Folder. I embossed with white cardstock, then swiped the ink colors across the panel using brush finger blender brushes. Then, I finished with a simple Just a Note die cut.
