Happy Friday, friends!

I’ve been sharing lots of inspiration from the Simon Says Stamp Just a Note release. I have one more this week! I have been extra inspired by this release. If I’m being honest, I think my mind is in preparation mode for STAMPtember – which will be here in just a few weeks!

My card today features the Fresh Cut Floral Stem die. I die-cut three stems in white and ink-blended with Pawsitively Saturated inks. After piecing it all together, I added some Nuvo glitter gel to the bottoms of the petals – it almost bleaches out the ink and gives it a “highlight.”

For the background, I used the Vines Embossing Folder. I’ve never used a brayer successfully before and tried it on this card and I think it turned out adequately (ha!). I was able to add color to the embossed areas and I was pretty happy with it.

Before adding the Fresh Cut Floral Stems, I ink-blended the bottom right hand corner with Sweets ink to give it additional interest and color. The sentiment strip I used is also from a new set from this release – the Reverse Teacher Sentiment Strips!
