Hi friends!

We are wrapping up Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week today! Today’s project uses the Winter Yeti die. Lawn Fawn has several of these paper-piecing die sets already and I’ve always enjoyed putting together. I decided to pair the Winter Yeti with the previously released Jolly Christmas Tree die for a winter card.

I used a combination of white, colored and glitter cardstock to die-cut all the pieces. For the Winter Yeti, I ink-blended his body, face, hands, and horns using ink-blending to get a soft amount of color. I also ink-blended the green and brown portions of the tree. I did use an R30 Copic marker for the yeti’s cheeks.

For the background, I used some ink to ink-blend a snowy hillside over white glitter cardstock. The sky is ink-blended with Distress Oxides and is splattered with water and white paint. I finished my card with a sentiment from the Yeti or Not stamp set.
