Hey friends!

Today’s cards use the same stamp set – Ornament Cloche from Papertrey Ink. I loved this set at first sight and when I started to use it, I knew there was no way I could use it and be happy with JUST ONE card.

I made two so that I could create two different ornament scenes because the images were just too good!

That being said, both cards are completely stamped – Papertrey Ink is thoughtful with their images and all the images layer PERFECTLY. I was very impressed!

I stamped one ornament with a pink ink and one with a light teal ink to give them some color before deciding what to put inside them.

Did you know that you can emboss over something that’s already embossed? I tried it with the sentiments on the ornament bases and was happy it worked!

After arranging the ornament scenes and adding sprays, I added a layer of glitter all over it to give it some texture, dimension and sparkle.

The backgrounds used Simon Says Stamp embossing folders (Glistening Snowflakes and Burst Snowflakes) and I used the same inks for the backgrounds as I did for the ornaments to ink-blend some color over the snowflakes.
