Hi friends!

Today’s card uses some spring products from the Simon Says Stamp Splendor release. The Tulip Stem comes in a bundle of coordinating products including Stencils, Dies, and Foil Transfer Cards.

I began by foiling the Tulip Stem Foil Transfer Cards. I foiled the tulip flower with Pink Melon Foil and the stem/leaves with Green Foil. Then, using the Tulip Stem Stencils, I added color. I finished with the stem by die-cutting it with the Tulip Stem Die. The foil is difficult to see when photographed straight on, but you can see it well in the photo below.

For the background, I ink-blended the Mosaic Tulips stencils. It’s a 3-layer set and makes a lovely background. I ink-blended it very softly so it didn’t distract from the focus of the tulip stem. The yellow ink is Butter and is from the NEW ink trio from the Pawsitively Saturated Ink line.

The sentiment is also foiled from the Fancy Easter Foil Transfer Cards. To finish, I added sequins from the new Zest Sequins mix.
