I tried a new-to-me technique today with an embossing folder! The Chelsea Floral Embossing Folder is from the Celebrate release and is one of several new embossing folders! For today’s card, I used the de-bossed side of the embossed panel to color. I’ve never done this before and thought it looked so fun and easy!

I used a blending brush to add color to the flowers and foliage. Then, I took a black ink pad and swiped it across the entire panel. Since I ink-blended color on the de-bossed side, the negative space is raised so it captures all the black ink I swiped across the panel. It makes it super simple to add color and a dark background!

I added some Nuvo Glitter to the centers of the flowers and some Nuvo Drops on the berries. Then I finished with a sentiment from the Reverse Congratulations Sentiment Strips. So easy! I hope you’ll give it a try!
