Tim Holtz – New Alcohol Ink Collection

Hi there, friends!

I’m sharing three projects today using alcohol ink from the latest Ranger/Tim Holtz release.

The new collection features 10 new colors. I’ve swatched them below on 2″x2″ yupo paper for my swatch book.

My three projects use 4 colors (3 from the new collection and a gold mixative). As you can see, no two panels are the same. I added Blending Solution to a piece of yupo paper and added a few drops of each color over the blending solution and used an air blower to blow the alcohol around. It dry as it was blown. Once the panels were dry, I splattered them with droplets of isopropyl alcohol.

Each panel is given a white intricate die-cut and topped with a gold/vellum die-cut sentiment. I finished by adding some iridescent sequins to the cards.
