Hello friends!

I’m sharing two cards today using the Just Write coordinating products from the Simon Says Stamp Cheering for You release. This set features a stamp and coordinating die, as well as two sets of stencils, the Jumbo Pencil and the Layered Pencils.

I made two cards to share two variations. The 6×8 Just Write stamp set contains a large pencil image, as well as a background image of smaller pencils. I stamped the background of pencils, then I used the Layered Pencils Stencils to ink-blend the background of both cards.

Next, I stamped and ink-blended two Jumbo Pencils. For this first card, I cut the jumbo pencil apart to lie them on the card horizontally. I stamped a sentiment from the CZ You set on the pencil and die-cut the You word die just above the stamped sentiment.

For my second card, I set the jumbo pencil at a diagonal. I used a sentiment from the Just Write set for this card and simply embossed it in white over black cardstock and die-cut it from a coordinating die.

Both cards are embellished with new embellishment mixes from this release: Summer Sunsets and Garden Blooms.
