Hi friends!

Today’s STAMPtember® surprise is a mini Rainbow Splash release! I used the Firework Sparkle set with the Magnificent Bursts embossing folder to create a festive card.

I started with the Magnificent Bursts embossing folder. I embossed it on white cardstock and in-blended the de-bossed side with colorful ink. When done, I added dark blue ink to the flat edges with a brayer. I also ink-blended the dark blue ink around the edges of the cardstock so “soften” the brightness a bit.

Then on more white cardstock, I stamped fireworks from the Firework Sparkle set. After stamping with bright colors, I trapped the ink by stamping and embossing with clear embossing ink. Then, I ink-blended around the fireworks with the same dark blue ink from the embossed panel. After die-cutting, these fireworks blend in with the background perfectly, but I was able to adhere them with 3D foam squares to give them dimension. I splattered the panel with white and gold paint, then finished with an embossed sentiment over dark blue cardstock.
