Today’s inspiration from the Sweet Wishes release features the Stylized Tree dies and Foil Transfer Cards.

I began by foiling the Stylized Tree Foil Transfer Cards with silver deco foil. You can see in the image above that I also foiled the tree with green foil. I know I could’ve used silver cardstock and used the die to die-cut for the same look, but what’s the fun in that if I can’t challenge myself to line the die perfectly over the foiled tree? HA! There is a different look to the foiled tree, really. Foil isn’t always perfect and it looks more…delicate? Not sure if that’s a good word for what I’m trying to describe.

Anyway, on a Nested Domed Arch panel, I ink-blended a gradient of blue and splattered it with white paint before adding the tree. Next, I added colorful Dazzling Gems. The new one used from this release is Gold, but I also used Cherry, Surf, Royal, and a green one from the Pastel Tones mix. You can also get the mixture of colors from the Warm Tones and Cool Tones mixes.

For the background, I embossed a white panel with the Brilliant Poinsettias Embossing Folder. I finished with a sentiment from the Reverse Winter Sentiment Strips.
