Hi there!

Today’s card uses the Buckeye Leaves Embossing Folder from the Sweet Wishes release. I used the debossed side of the embossed panel to ink-blended new ink colors from this release (Reds Trio 30: Rhubarb, Apple, and Cranberry along with the new Yellow Horizons ink cubes: Butter, Zest, Honey, Clay, Terracotta, Brick).

Once I was done ink-blending all the Buckeye Leaves, I used a brayer to add the Brick ink in all the negative spaces to cover the panel completely with ink. I then splattered the panel with gold paint splatters to give it more interest.

Using the Sketched Leaves set, I embossed an oak leave with gold embossing powder over vellum. Then I stamped and embossed a sentiment over black cardstock using white embossing powder. I warped some Black and White Twine around the panel and tied a bow before attaching the panel to a cardbase. To finish, I attached a few Gold Dazzling Gems.
