The December 2024 card kit is here! The Warmest Wishes set was designed by Cathy Zielske and it’s so cute with Scandinavian/nordic designs.

I used the Warmest Wishes stamp set to stamp the foliage and sweater design. For the background, I used the Snowflakes Adhesive Transfers. To use this item, You peel away the backing and apply the snowflakes to your cardstock and run it through a laminator-style machine. The heat transfers the adhesive from the acetate transfer carrier to the cardstock. Then you can apply foil and run it through the laminator again. However, I used the Sparkling Silver Embossing Powder from the kit and rubbed it over the Snowflakes Adhesive and embossed it. Then, I was able to ink-blend the background for some ink-resisting. I splattered the panel with white paint to give it more texture, too.

I don’t have the dies for the Warmest Wishes set, so I fussy-cut around the stamped areas to attach it to the background panel with 3D foam squares. Next, I stamped the “hygge” sentiment over black cardstock and first embossed it with white embossing powder, then the Sparkling Silver Embossing Powder to help the sentiment stand out better against the black cardstock. The “hygge” definition sentiment is embossed over vellum and adhered as a strip to the bottom of the card.
