Hi friends!

Today’s card features two snowmen from the Festive Fun release. Arthur the Snowman and Oliver the Snowman are paired together on this winter card.

I started by working on the background. I embossed the Frosty Pines embossing folder with white paper and colored the trees with Copic markers. Next, I ink-blended the sky. To add snow, I used a brayer to run embossing ink over the raised areas of the trees. Then I sprinkled White Puff embossing powder over it and heat set it. I did this three times to get it really puffy. I also splattered the panel with white paint. to give it a snowy look and this will help blend in stray white powders.

Arthur the Snowman and Oliver the Snowman were die-cut with white cardstock. I ink-blended their bodies with some light teal ink, but colored the rest of with Copic markers. I finished with some Dazzling Gems after piecing them together (black from the Metallic Tones mix for their buttons, Bubblegum for Oliver’s Hat and Sprout for Arthur’s hat. These two colors can also be found in the Pastel Tones mix.

The sentiment is die-cut from the Fancy Peace die and paired with the Fancy Peace Foil Transfer Cards.
