Hi, Friends!

At the end of August, I helped share sneak peaks of The Stamp Market’s new paper and ink release! It’s called the Stamper’s Dozen and the first of the Color Crush Collection. They’re a set of all of Amy’s (the company owner) favorite and most reached-for colors. I’m so excited for it because I LOVE pastels and these colors are right up my alley! In addition, there are lots of fun products that are a part of this release, so I hope you’ll keep reading/scrolling to see it all!

I created paper swatches, ink-swatches and labeled my ink pads and re-inkers bottles. It was a labor of love but I enjoy organization! These colors are absolutely gorgeous!

With this release, we have the Small Peony die – which creates beautiful 3D peonies. I made three peonies using Party Pink and Fresh Pink cardstock for the petals, Cactus Green for the leaves, and Citrine for the peony centers.

I used the 3D flowers to complement a card I made the A Little Something stamp set to color the teal bow (Copic markers: G00, BG34, BG13). Then I ink-blended some Sea Glass cardstock with Tropic Teal ink to give it the soft glow.

I die-cut the Color Block die using sparkle gold cardstock to mimic a wrapped-gift box. Then I stamped the sentiment and cut a tag out of it. I punched a little hole and added some gold twine. After adhering my Color Block frame down, I added my bow and tag using foam adhesive. Then I finished off the card with a few Clear Droplets.

My second card features the Ready to Bloom products. I used the Ready to Bloom Card Cover and die cut it using Blush Pink cardstock. To give the flowers some additional color, I blended some Bubble Gum ink over the center of each flower.

I ink-blended Leafy Green ink on a blank panel and then curled some of the petals up before adhering it to the panel. On a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped little leaves using Leafy Green ink from the Ready to Bloom stamp set and die-cut them to adhere around the card. The sentiment is also from this stamp set and is stamped using Bubble Gum ink. To finish this card, I added some glitter adhesive in the centers of each flower.

Did you know you can paint with the re-inkers? I guested for The Stamp Market using the So Mini Hellos set and created a 4-bar card set and did a watercolor wash for the backgrounds.

I used Bubble Gum, Tropic Teal, Party Pink and Sea Glass ink for these backgrounds. It creates a soft background for a quick clean and simple card.

Instead, I stacked cardstock and then adhered it over the halo (Blush Pink, Citrine, Tropic Teal, Sea Glass, Party Pink).

The background is created with the new Leaf Stencil using Tropic Teal ink. I adhered the stacked hellos to the stenciled background with foam adhesive and then added some Clear Enamel Dots.
