I’m so excited to be a part of the Reverse Confetti Blog Hop today! I made a card using the Rain or Shine set and loved the images so much that I made two more quick ones for a sweet set.

My first card is the most elaborate since it was the only one I had in mind when I started crafting for this release. I stamped and colored all the images with Copic markers.

Copic Colors Used:
Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG13
Pinks:  R30, R32, R35
Blues:  B0000, B000, B01
Purples:  V000, V01, V04
Yellows:  Y11, Y35, Y38
Browns:  [E40, E41, E42, E43], [E50, E31, E35]

For my background, I ink-blended Distress Oxide Inks from light to dark using Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers. I sprayed the panel with some water to give it some texture and then decided to add some watermark clouds as well. To set them in place, I embossed them with clear embossing powder.

Once the background was prepared, I trimmed 1/8″ off all the sides to get a crisp edge and to mat an A2-sized card base. Before attaching it to the card base, I added my images using foam adhesive to give the card lots of dimension. It was difficult for me to cover up anything with a solid sentiment strip so I decided to emboss over vellum for a transparent one.

My second card is super simple with the same Copic colors used for the rainbow and clouds. I ink-blended the background with Tumbled Glass Ink and splattered it with dark blue paint to give it texutre.

This time, I cut off 1/4″ off each side to mat my A2-sized card base. I attached my images once more using foam adhesive to give it dimension. To finish, I embossed my sentiment from the This Says It All set over vellum again to give it a soft look and embellished it with dew drops.

My final card uses these adorable bunnies from the same Rain or Shine set. For this card, I ink-blended the background with Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Inks and splattered it with dark pink paint.

The sentiment for this set is from the Best Sentiments set and is perfect for these cute bunnies. The letters are solid in this sentiment set (unlike the This Says It All set), so I embossed it in white over black cardstock for a bold look. I finished this card also by adding some dew drops to my card.
