Hero Arts – Spring Catalog Release – Flower Infinity

Hi, Friends!

Hero Arts is celebrating the release of their spring catalog today! You can see the entire spring collection HERE! There are wonderful new products to share with you so we’re hoping you’ll join our blog hop to see all the inspiration!

The new Flower Infinity Dies can be used to create 3D projects and I used them today to make 3D flowers on my card. I die-cut the pieces in 3 different cardstock colors (Peony, Azalea, Kiwi, and Canary) and ink-blended to give them shading.

I used scissors to snip from corners towards the center without cutting all the way through. This allows for easy curling of each petal to give them a 3D look.

After arranging all my flowers, I ink-blended a blank panel with Taffy and Berry Smoothie Reactive Inks. To give it texture, I sprayed my panel with water before attaching my flowers and leaves. Then I splattered the whole thing with white ink. The sentiment is from the Tulip Field Color Layering Scape stamp set. To finish, I added some gold glitter glue to my flower centers and added a few others to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for stopping by!

A note about new Hero Arts-branded black MISTIs – we love that My Sweet Petunia has collaborated with Hero Arts on this! The black MISTIs will be on the website, but will display as “out of stock”. If you’re interested in one, you can put yourselves on the “notify me” list. They will be available beginning March 15! They are the original MISTI design – not the new version being released by My Sweet Petunia in May.

  1. Your flowers are so very pretty – love the color choices and how you gave the petals that great added dimension! Thanks for sharing!
