I made a taller version of the faceted box today! I found the directions on someone else’s blog and the original post can be found here. I pretty much cased what Libby did – using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to decorate the paper and topped the box with a bow using the bow builder punch. The color of card stock I used is called Ballet Blue and has been discontinued and I stamped using Pacific Point Ink.
Here’s the box:
The lighting makes the color look different in each of these pictures – but it’s the same box.
Thanks, Libby, for sharing these dimensions!
Follow my scoring instructions mentioned in my last post using these score measurements using one full 8.5″x 11″ sheet – don’t you love it??? No wasting!
1) Short side, scoring all the way through: 1 1/2″, 5 1/2″, 8″. Rotate counter clockwise 90 degrees.
2) Long side with newest scoreline at the top, scoring to the second scoreline from previous step: 2 1/2″, 5, 7 1/2″, 10″. Rotate 180 degrees.
3) Long side – opposite of previous score lines, scoring to the first horizontal scoreline: 1/4″, 2 3/4″, 5 1/4″, 7 3/4″, 10 1/4″.
Snip away unneeded flaps and assemble!
Super easy and fun project to make! Love that the instructions are straightforward. This bigger sized box is also the perfect size for a lot of different uses.
