Well, hello there!

It’s the final week of the Kathy Racoosin Daily Marker Coloring Challenge!  I’ve been dying to color another one of Pretty Pink Posh’s beautiful floral sets!  The Flourishing Fuchsias set I colored today is a fabulous one!

I googled fuchsias and found them to be very vibrant…but dark.  So I did my best and this ended up being…well…vibrant and dark.  LOL.

For my background, I used Distress Oxide inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China – using a mister bottle to remove some color for the splattered look.

I cut 1/2″ off the card base as well as the card front so that I could over-hang the leaves for the canopy on top of the card.

I propped up some of the flowers and leaves on dimensional foam to give it some layers and added a simple sentiment from the Pretty Pink Posh Everyday Greetings stamp set.

To finish the card, I added some clear sequins – also from Pretty Pink Posh.

I just noticed a few of my hairs made into that last photo…ha!  OOPS-sorry about that!  Shhh…forget I said anything!  Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you enjoyed that card!
