I’m back for another Spellbinders project(s). Today, I used the Words etched dies from the On The Wings of Love collection. This set comes with 3 dies and I made a card with each of the dies.
I decided to use the dies only – no stamping for these cards. I used to dies to die cut the words several times, added one layer of black cardstock at the bottom and offset a bit to create a shadow. I used the Spellbinders embossing mat to use the dies as embossing tools instead of cutting through the paper. This is my first time trying this and I really love it!
I used Distress Oxide ink (Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry( on each card on the top die-cut so give it some color. For this “create” card, I did a portrait orientation because the word is shorter and added some striped washi tape on the left side for added interest.
The “thanks” card is made using Cracked Pistachio and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks.
Finally, the “celebrate” card is made using Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks. To complete all three cards in this set, I used Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling confetti sequins to add some bling.
