Hi Friends!

School has just begun – which means the holidays are quickly approaching! I’m anticipating some amazing holiday sets with future releases, so I thought I would make some time to create a card using a current winter set from Hello Bluebird.

The Spooky Scene is a new die with the August Release.  I decided to use it to create a serene scene instead!  I die cut all the pieces and colored the tree and background using Copic markers.  For the ground, I sponged Versamark Ink over the piece and covered it with Wow White Puff Twinkle Glitter Embossing Powder. I also stamped a few snowflakes and embossed those.

I stamped and colored all the images using Copic markers.  I used a Versamarker (Versamark Ink in a pen form) to add the same Wow White Puff Twinkle Glitter Embossing Powder over certain areas of the snowmen and evergreen trees.

Colors used:  C0, C2, C5, C8, R00, R14, R29, B000, B000, B41, V000, V01, Y38, YR18, E41, E31, E25, Y28, BG11, BG34

Once all the images were die cut, I arranged them to my liking on the scene and used foam tape for the snowmen to give them some dimension in front of the evergreen trees.  The sentiment is a speech bubble I stamped using Catherine Pooler’s Aquatini ink.

To finish the card I used the Gallery Frame #2 die to add a scallop border over the entire piece.  It gave it a really soft finish and I really love scallops!
