I’ve made a card using one of the add-on stamp and die sets called Coloring Layered Trimmings. I loved this set instantly and knew I wanted to create a card with it.
I started by stamping and die cutting several of the pinecones, pine branches and ornaments in various ink colors. Then I die-cut them out using coordinating dies.
For the background, I ink-blended some Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. For a subtle texture, I sprayed some water droplets, but dabbed it right away with a piece of paper towel so that it didn’t absorb too much color.
I then stamped some more pine branches directly on the card panel to make it fuller and arranged the die cut pieces over the stamped panel. I adhered some of the pieces on with foam tape to give the card some dimension and embossed the sentiment using some gold embossing powder. I finished the card off with some simple dew drops.
