Pretty Pink Posh – Trick or Treat Friends

Happy Halloween!!!

I made this card a while ago and wanted to save it for this fun day.

This Trick or Treat Friends stamp set is the first Halloween-themed stamp set that I ever purchased. I just couldn’t resist these adorable, festive kids!

I stamped the images using a watercolor-friendly ink, Versafine Onyx Black and colored the images using Arteza Real Brush Pens. I applied color directly to the cardstock and blended the color out with a damp watercolor brush. I find this is the best way to control the color for me.

Once dry, I die cut the images using the Trick or Treat Friends dies and added Glossy Accents to the wand, pumpkin face and hat buckle. Then I set them aside while I worked on the card panel and base. I used the Storybook 3 die to cut a window in the card panel and used 3M foam tape behind it to give the card some dimension. On the card base, I ink-blended some Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks.

I centered and stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink and white embossing powder, then finished the card off using some Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst Jewels.
